Savage Orcs & Goblins

This is my Savage Orc and Goblin army for Warhammer Fantasy Battle. Every unit contains either "proper" savage orcs / forest goblins or a savage themed customisation of a mainstream orc and goblin unit. It was tempting to stick to a purely savage theme however it would have made the army quite weak in many areas and robbed me of a raft of fun modelling projects.

In game terms it represents approximately 4,800 points using 6th/7th edition. All up there are 267 models, every single one metal with the exception of the Big Boss on foot. The vast majority are sculpted by Michael and Alan Perry, whose work is vastly superior to the later plastic versions IMHO. The giant is a ringer from another manufacturer because I wanted a larger trollish creature to match his smaller cousins.

It has taken approximately 3 years to complete, much of it painted during the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge over the Aussie Summer.
