Horses, horses, horses...
Still going with the SAGA Normans but at least all 21 of the Wyld Stallyns are completed now so I can progress onto the riders.
I quite enjoy painting horses but even for me 21 at once was a bit of a stretch, partly just through the amount of painting required but also because I like to make every horse different - colour, socks, blazes, etc. Moaning aside, I think the end result is always worth it compared to whole units of same coloured animals...
Hopefully by next weekend there will be some progress on the riders to report.

ReplyDeleteGood point! That's what happens when you use a black undercoat and think too much about the process and not enough about what you are actually painting :-)

ReplyDeleteexcellent work ! like you, I don't like a lot to paint horses (and other figures) in the same colours, the resukt is more lifefull but it takes more time ...
