More progress on the Savage Orcs with the first half of my unit of Big 'Uns with Extra Hand Weapons now completed. You can see them here all ranked up with the second batch in the background and a unit filler in place. I might go for another 6 across the back for a total of 30 in the future as the unit filler looks a bit odd as the back rank.
Apologies for the quality of the pics. The camera was having issues with the unpainted miniatures contrasting the the painted ones in front.

But you'll never take their freedom?
ReplyDeleteIndeed. I don't think I'll be able to call them that to be honest. I know someone who suffers and extreme allergic reaction to the film :-)
DeleteBeautifully done. The faces are spectacular and I like the way you did those colour blends.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne!
DeleteLovely work as always, Michael! But where's the tartan...?
ReplyDelete; )
My own plans for a productive Saturday's painting at my kitchen workbench were rudely disrupted by our new upstairs neighbour's DIY frenzy in the kitchen above. I had to postpone my painting thanks to the constant drilling and hammering. Frankly, it's hard to get your painting head on straight when there's all that going on above you.
Oh, well, maybe tomorrow...
Der's nae tartan ere humie!
DeleteWhat, not even in the Orcneys?

Blue and Green, a great colour scheme. They look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Darcy. I like it too. The next one will be purple :-)
DeleteGreat looking color scheme. That totem looks great too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean. The totem is about 50% painted now. Having to work hard not to overdo it.
DeleteNice Orcs.
ReplyDeleteI put you down in my Liebster Blog award list.
cheers
