Another small project completed today which is good. Finishing things that have been hanging about is quite therapeutic to say nothing of actually getting stuff done.
This one is an artillery piece for the Boxer rebels, part of my 55 Days at Peking project which has been somewhat stalled of late. I got a bit sick of it for a while having done not much else but I'm starting to find some interest again.
Not sure what's next so you'll have to wait and see every bit as much as I will. :-)
Cheers,
Millsy

ReplyDeleteVery colourful! No rush to finish it all, plod along at your own pace.
ReplyDeleteVery colourful.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely piece Millsy, top class Sir.
ReplyDeleteLooks great mate! Not long until the big game now :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat tribute to an equally great movie!
ReplyDeleteLovely piece Millay.. how far from a game do you think you are,, I find setting a deadline to host one helps in the final push phase!
ReplyDeleteI like these figures, looks like an interesting project. One of the things I'm trying to do is finish up a lot of half started figures. I have so many that I just quit on.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking artillery piece, it's hard to stay motivated, especially when you feel rubbish!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Great looking gun and crew! Yes, very colorful indeed. What scale and manufacturer are the models? I want them for my collection. I too am shuffling along with my Boxer project. Very slow and not so steady.
ReplyDeleteCheers,

They're 28mm Redoubt Miniatures mate. Not the best sculpts but the most complete range.
DeleteThat's a terrific looking gun and crew Millsy! I really like the punchy colours of this project - very evocative of the period. Keep up the steam!
